Story bridge is located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It connects Fortitude Valley to Kangaroo Point.
Construction of the bridge began in 1935, the bridge was designed by local engineer John Bradfield. One of the reasons to build the bridge was employment, this was when the Great Depression took place and it was important to get people into work. 5 years later, in 1940 opened the bridge.
From 2005 it was possible to climb over the bridge, this has become a popular tourist attraction.
