The Sandö bridge is an arch bridge in Kramfors on the east coast in Sweden. The bridge opened in 1943. In 1939, during construction, the arch collapsed and 18 workers died. The bridge is 811 meters long and the largest span is 264 meters. It was the largest concrete arch in the world until the Gladesville Bridge in Australia opened in 1964
