Puente de la Mujer is a footbridge in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The bridge is a swing bridge that opens when larger boats to pass. The bridge was designed by the Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava who designed several bridges. Construction of the bridge started in 1998 and in 2001 opened it. The bridge has a total length of 170 meters and weighs about 800 tons.
