Osman Gazi Bridge is the world's fourth largest suspension bridge with a span of 1,550 meters. It crosses Izmitbukten in Turkey. Construction began in 2013 and the bridge opened in 2016. The bridge has been designed by Dissing+Weitling who also designed the Øresund Bridge.
Osman Gazi Bridge is part of the highway between Istanbul and Izmir. After the bridge opened was the distance reduced by 140km.
