The Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge is located north of Istanbul in Turkey. The bridge is also called the third Bosphorus bridge. The bridge is one of three bridges that cross the Bosphorus strait that divides Asia and Europe. Construction of the bridge started in 2013 and in 2016 the bridge opened. The bridge is 2,164 meters long and the largest span is 1,408 meters.
