The Megyeri Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge that crosses the Danube River to the north of Budapest in Hungary. Planning to build a bridge began in 1993. Construction of the bridge began in 2006 and the bridge opened in 2008. The bridge is 1,862 meters long and the largest span is 300 meters. The towers are 100 meters high. It is the first cable-stayed bridge in Hungary.
