The bridge is 2,215 meters long, and a main span of 320 meters makes it the largest bridge in Cambodia. The bridge is part of Highway 1 between Phnom Penh and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam.
Construction of the bridge began in 2011 and opened to traffic in 2015.
