The Rochefort-Martrou Transporter Bridge is a transport bridge that crosses the rivers of the Charente in France.
The construction of the bridge started in 1988 and in 1900 the bridge was opened. In 1976 it became a historical monument. There is a visitor center right by the bridge. It was designed by the French engineer Ferdinand Arnodin.
The transport bridge is open in summer for cyclists and pedestrians and takes about 75 seconds to cross the river.
The bridge is 176 meters long and has a main span of 140 metres. It is 66 meters high and has a sailing height of 50 meters.
