Gladesville Bridge is an arch bridge in Sydney, Australia. Construction of the bridge started in 1959 and the bridge opened in 1964. The bridge is 579 meters long and the largest span is 305 meters. It is the first concrete bridge to span over 1,000 feet (305 meters) and was the largest concrete arch in the world until the Krk Bridge in Croatia opened in 1980
