The Nanpu Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge in Shanghai, China. This was the first bridge built in Shanghai to cross the Huangpu River.
The bridge is 760 meters long, and a main span of 423 meters.
Construction of the bridge began in 1988 and it opened to traffic in 1991. The Nanpu Bridge was the fourth largest cable-stayed bridge in the world when it opened.
