The Arrábida Bridge is an arch bridge that crosses the Douro River in Porto, Portugal.
Since the 1930s, it was necessary to create alternative connections across the river, the other bridges in the city, Maria Pia and Luís I Bridge, could not handle the increasing car traffic. The bridge is 493 meters long and has a main span of 270 meters. The construction of the bridge started in 1957 and in 1963 the bridge opened, this was the largest concrete arch bridge in the world.
